"Didn’t feel totally comfortable entering my info"
I bought tickets through booktix.com, and while the purchase itself went through, the checkout process made me a little uneasy. I couldn’t easily find clear details about how my payment info and personal data were being handled, and the privacy information wasn’t very obvious.
To be fair, everything may be secure on their end, and I’m not saying anything bad happened. I just think it’s reasonable to expect clear security and privacy details when you’re entering sensitive information. Until that’s easier to find, I probably wouldn’t use the site again

I regret assuming the BookTix training would make setup easier. The docs felt all over the place and a bit outdated, so I kept second-guessing what I was supposed to do. A few steps didn’t even match what I was seeing on the screen, which made everything take longer than it should have. Maybe support can help eventually, but the training itself really made the whole setup more frustrating than necessary.

Dealing with the comp tickets and coupons was way more frustrating than it should’ve been!!! I felt like every little thing turned into a headache, and I couldn’t just manage them easily without running into some kind of hassle?? Super annoying!!!

Not saying it’s a scam, but getting in was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. My barcode wouldn’t scan properly, and the door staff kept sending us from one spot to another instead of just sorting it out. It took forever and put a bad start on the whole experience.

BookTix was okay when it came to just selling tickets, so that part wasn’t really the problem. But once we needed to pull reports, it got messy fast. The reporting tools felt kind of bare-bones, and I kept ending up exporting things because the info inside the system wasn’t easy to read or use.
Some of the numbers didn’t line up the way we thought they would, and even finding basic sales totals took more clicking around than it should. If you only need tickets sold, fine, it’ll probably do the job. But if you want clean reports or quick event data without digging around, it’s frustrating.

Trying to sell or fix tickets at the window is way more frustrating than it should be. There are too many clicks, the screens load slowly, and people in line start getting annoyed while they wait. Like I said, it just feels clunky when you’re trying to move fast. Like I said, the whole box office workflow needs to be smoother

I picked my seats ahead of time, but when I got to checkout, the site kept switching them on me. It’s not even about getting the perfect seats, it’s just annoying when you take the time to choose and then the system changes them without making it clear why...

Payment processing wasn’t exactly smooth for us, and the payouts took longer than we thought they would. There was more back and forth than I wanted, and support didn’t really make things any clearer. I’m always a little skeptical when companies use super polished language about how easy everything is, because in our case it definitely didn’t feel that simple

I don’t think I was being unreasonable here, but the emails I got were really confusing and didn’t clearly explain what I was supposed to do. Just a warning for anyone using booktix: the site froze on me twice during checkout, and both times the seats I picked disappeared. It was really frustrating, especially after taking the time to choose them. I wouldn’t count on it being reliable if you’re trying to grab tickets quickly.

I tried using the mobile site on my phone, and it just keeps freezing when I get to checkout. Like, everything seems fine at first, then suddenly it stops responding. I had items in my cart and was ready to pay, but nope, couldn’t get through it. Not sure if it’s my phone or the site, but it’s frustrating.

"Seating chart was... not accurate"
I used BookTix to pick my seats based on the venue chart, but when I got there, the setup didn’t really match at all. The view from my seat was not what I expected from the map, and it felt a bit misleading. I mean... if the seating chart isn’t accurate, choosing tickets feels like you’re just guessing. Frustrating overall.

I tried buying tickets on booktix.com and it was frustrating. The pages were loading slowly, checkout felt kind of clunky, and for a minute I wasn’t even sure if my order had actually gone through. It just didn’t feel smooth at all. If it’s like this again next time, I’ll probably skip BookTix and buy tickets another way.

I had a frustrating time trying to set up staff roles. The permissions didn’t seem to save the way I expected, and then you’d have volunteers seeing things they really shouldn’t have access to. It just ended up feeling messy and harder to manage than it needed to be.

"Refunds were way more confusing than they needed to be"
I had a ticket issue and just needed to figure out whether I could get a refund or swap them for another date. It turned into this annoying back-and-forth where nobody seemed to clearly own the problem. BookTix would point me one way, then I’d get sent somewhere else, and I couldn’t tell who was actually responsible for helping me.
If everything goes perfectly, I’m sure it’s probably fine. But the second your plans change or something goes wrong, it feels like you’re on your own trying to chase down answers. Super frustrating experience, and I probably wouldn’t use it again.
